Scott Family Entertainment
For the last four decades, the "Singing Scotts" have performed many different iterations of the now famous Scott Family Revue, a unique collage of song and dance that has played an integral role in the resort’s heritage. Essentially, the revue was a way for guests to become more familiar with the members of the family, as people rather than as simply vacation hosts. What started out as a small performance by Ray and Doris and a few of their children eventually turned into a dynamic stage production which, at its peak, featured a 13 member ensemble.
Today, Ray and Doris, daughter Patty and son-in-law Gary and their children Michael and Michelle continue the tradition which started so many years ago. The 1 1/2 hour revue is typically performed twice each week, complete with full costumes, lighting and musical accompaniment. Although now on a slightly smaller scale, it covers everything from broadway to country to popular music, with a little comedy thrown into the mix for good measure. The show is changed each year in order to include a little something for every musical taste, and there are always a few surprises along the way...
